What is all the rambling over Jacob Zuma's polygamy? isnt it all political?

They talk about his new wives day and night on euronews and BBC. Why would it matter when all over the world even in countries like iran and KSA , most is done outside marriage? he's just doing some maneuvers on african tradition to buy popularity/jealousy from his people, imo. It's pretty unethical when european news agencies use this against him , dont you think so?
