What is the main different between a us navy pilots, usmc pilot and us air force pilot?

I know that a difference is that naval aviators and marine aviators can land on aircraft carriers and a usaf pilot lands on air bases but what are some other differences? do they have different tactics? and also how does the us military decide whether to deploy naval jets or air force jets or even marine corps jets?
