Anyone see a link between edom & babylon?

psalms 137 mentions daughter of babylon and references edom, the edomites as a nation of people obviously as the place cannot be in edom when it talks about babylon in the same breath, reading in the bible the people of edom feature in prophecy for future destruction not only as empires, but the wipe out of an entire human race of people, this is in obadiah and jeremiah 49, malachi 1 etc even in the NT paul reiterates this point in romans 9 when he quotes the book of malachi regarding the promise the that esau has to serve jacob, if you go to the book of Isaiah 63, it says about the coming of the lord christ in his return and having vengeance on edom, from this you should read revelation 14 & revelation 19, because those 2 chapters john makes a big reference to Isaiah 63, this babylon in revelation is the roman empire, the people identified to as the romans are the edomites, today america is a continuation of the roman empire, you will for sure see this link if you check out the scriptures i showed you, its undeniable, contrary to theologists and scholars who would never admit that because they are amongst the people of this curse given by the lord.
