Dead or Alive?
We read in the Bible that God has always called Prophets. We also learn that God confers this priesthood/power upon men through those that have already received it by the laying on of hands. God established His church through Jesus Christ, with Apostles and prophets. Even after Christ's death, he appeared to Paul and called him to the 12, showing that His work was not yet complete and the foundation of the church was to continue. The church then fell apart as the apostles predicted and as we read in Acts 8:11-12 , but prophesied it would be re-established in the last days. Where is it now? Are the prophets dead, like God, or still alive showing God still loves and blesses us with revelation? If he called prophets back then, where is the Moses of our day? Where is the foundation talked about in Eph. 4: 11-14? It is clear we are not yet in "unity of faith".
