I want to make my back garden into all lawn this year ,?

back in autumn ,i cleared most plants giving them to family ect , how do i prepare the soil for gr seed, i still have weeds out there , , im a pensioner lady, so nothing too strenuous please , but am willing to try ,as lawn will be better for me to manage , I thank you in advance
