What is the list of main event level pro wrestlers that never became world champion?

They must be main event level and the title of World Champion can only count if the wresler didnt become world champion in a major wresling promoion. Some examples of major wresling promotions are WWE, WCW and TNA. Roddy Piper never became champion in WWF or WCW. Neither did Scott Hall or Mr Perfect even tough they were main event level performers. Not sure if Mr Perfect was a main event level performer in WCW.
