Should i ask him to hang out?

Ok so this guy that sit in front of me in english cl picked up my paper. But the thing is I kinda caught him looking back at me a couple times during cl, and he told me srry for his chair going into my desk. Then when I dropped my paper I had put my foot on it, scooted it to the side of my desk. Then he picked it up for me. Then he had turned around to see which page we were on and he never looks at my paper.But then yesterday, I tapped him on the shoulder asked him if he went to the same middle school and as me he said yeah, and I was like oh I remember you! And he said yeah and laughed. But a couple days ago we didn't talk. But he was kinda half way turned in his desk a couple times, and I saw him kinda looking back at me oncem Its prob nothing but does it mean anything at all Note he's never picked up anything of mine at all or been that way half turn that way that much. Then just today, he had turned fully around to give me my paper ( which he's never done), and when he laid hhis arm on my hand, we didnt say sorry and it wasnt awkard.Maybe Im taking it out of poportion maybe hes just be bein nice but do you think he likes me should I aSk him to hang out
