I am really shy, especially in front of my friends...Dancin?

Yesterday night we had our annual Halloween Dance. I am in 8th and I am 13. At the dance, I just couldn't my feet movin, I mean I knew all the songs and how to dance them but I just get so shy. I usually loosen up during the end of the party but then I miss all the good songs. Besides dancing is the fun part, how are you supposed to dance at the end of the dance? I need help, I just can't do it...Any suggestions.
